Terms and Conditions
Last updated: March 2026
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using doPhysics. By accessing the Platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using doPhysics ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and subscribers.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian.
3. Account Registration
To access personalised features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated. Notify us immediately at info@dophysics.in if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Some features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on the cycle stated at checkout. Payments are processed securely via Razorpay; we do not store raw payment card data. Fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
5. Free (Guest) Access
Guests may access a limited number of questions without registering. Once the guest limit is reached, registration and/or subscription is required to continue. Free access may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including questions, explanations, diagrams, text, images, and software — is owned by doPhysics or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written permission.
7. Permitted Use
The Platform is provided for your personal, non-commercial educational use only. You agree not to: share account credentials with others; scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content; attempt to reverse-engineer any part of the Platform; upload malicious code or interfere with Platform infrastructure; or use the Platform to harass, deceive, or harm others.
8. User-Generated Content
If you submit feedback or other content to the Platform, you grant doPhysics a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and incorporate that content for Platform purposes. You warrant that you own or have the right to grant this licence.
9. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results obtained from using it will be accurate or reliable. Physics content is intended for educational preparation purposes and should not substitute professional academic advice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, doPhysics and its team members shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct harmful to the Platform or its users. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases; provisions that by their nature survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) shall continue to apply.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the Platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
